NB Canada was established in January 1999. The company acquired the assets of a long established environmenal assessment company and formed Environmental Auditors (Canada) Ltd.

Environmental Auditors (Canada) Limited (EACL) is a privately held Canadian Company incorporated in 1989, with offices located in Richmond Hill, Ontario. EACL is focused on the provision of environmental services, having performed over 2,000 environmental investigations throughout Ontario and Canada.

Our staff includes a team of specialists experienced in the fields of hazardous waste management, site remediation, contaminant geology, chemical engineering, occupational health and safety, environmental auditing, as well as environmental monitoring and site restoration. In addition, EACL draws from a carefully developed network of associates that provide consulting services on an as-needed basis, in more specialized environmental disciplines including risk management, occupational health and safety services and building structural/mechanical inspections.

EACL holds a Certificate of Authorization to engage in the business of providing services that are within the practice of Professional Engineering in the Province of Ontario in accordance with the provision of the Professional Engineers Act.

Unlike many environmental consulting or engineering firms, EACL maintains professional liability, errors and omission, and pollution insurance coverage that fully recognizes the nature of our environmentally related consulting work.

At present, environmental assessments can be performed by anyone, there being no legislated or industry requirement for training or standard of certification to the individuals offering these services. EACL has been actively involved in remedying this situation via participation in the Canadian Standards Association technical committee and the Canadian Environmental Audit Association, which have mandates, to develop industry-wide standards for environmental investigations and to establish accreditation standards for environmental auditors.

EACL recognizes that their clients demand not only quality, but rapid response as well. To fulfill and exceed these service expectations, EACL is often able to have personnel onsite to perform an environmental investigation the same day that an authorization to proceed is received. EACL also maintains and operates their own drilling equipment to speed up the collection of soil samples.
